1. Make sure your breast pump and accessories are assembled correctly, and that the flange fits snugly against your breast.
2. Choose the right flange size (15/17/19/21/27mm available on the Modavista website). Use the included nipple measuring tool, measuring only the nipple’s diameter (not the areola).
3. Replace silicone parts about every three months, or sooner if suction changes or parts show wear.
4. Wear a supportive bra—preferably full coverage, stretchy fabric, with a nursing buckle and no underwire.

All Modavista pump parts that come into contact with breast milk are BPA-free, giving you peace of mind about your baby’s milk. However, some components need regular replacement to maintain optimal performance. If you notice reduced suction, check for wear, fraying, or stretching—especially in the valves—and replace parts as needed.

2. Flange shields and milk collector: Replace every 6 months.
